Global Climate Strike
With the rise of temperature ever year, Earth's temperature is increasing rapidly. This is called global warming. The production of greenhouse gases is the main reason for it.
Climate change is real and a major issue. Melting of glacier, loss of sea ice and more intense heat waves are few of the examples of climate change.
Climate change will disrupt the life of human beings in the future and some of it has already started. Burning of Amazon rainforest is the best example at the moment. If the climate change continues, in the future there will be more droughts and heat waves, the hurricanes will be stronger and intense, sea level will rise and numerous problems will increase.
The best way to avoid these is to fight it right now. Recently we have seen that youths and students are protesting worldwide to make the people in power take climate change seriously. We must do everything we can to make climate change.
Greta Thunberg, 16 years old, Swedish climate activist started 'school strike for climate change' on August of 2018 protesting outside the Swedish parliament. This inspired many students worldwide to join the moment. Greta is nominated for Nobel Peace Prize for creating awareness by this moment.
