The rich are primarily to blame for the global climate crisis
According to a study by the University of Leeds of 86 countries, the rich are primarily to blame for the global climate crisis.
The reseach found out that the more rich people became the more energy they use and it is applied in all countries. About 20 times more energy is consumed by the wealthiest tenth of people than the bottom ten, wherever they live.
If this continues household energy consumption could double from 2011 levels by 2050. So, proper planning and policy change is necessary to decrease the energy consumption.
