A nearly extinct bird returning to England for the first time in several hundred years

After a successful breeding programme in Oxfordshire, The white stork, nearly extinct bird in Britain is returning to the wild in the south of England for the first time in several hundred years.

They were near extinct due to the factors like hunting and loss of their habitats.

The birds was once a common sight in the UK until the end of the Civil War in the 1600s.
